A short name makes a session easy to find from your iPhone when several agents are working at once.
Getting started
Set up SeaSalt
The Mac app is free and works on its own. Pairing the iPhone app is part of SeaSalt Pro and starts with a 14-day free trial.
Connect a provider
Choose Claude Code, ChatGPT through Codex, or a local model through Ollama or LM Studio. Usage is billed by the provider you connect.
Create your first project agent
Point it at a project folder on your Mac. The agent keeps its conversation and work sessions for that project, and Captain can coordinate it alongside your other agents.
Pair the iPhone appPro
Install the iPhone app and sign in with the same account. Tap your Mac under Devices, then confirm the matching code on both screens.

Tips
Keep the lid slightly open
Agents, terminal, and files keep working while your Mac is locked. Remote Desktop needs the display awake, so leave a laptop's lid cracked.
Preview local dev servers
Open a Browse session on your iPhone to load localhost URLs running on your Mac, without exposing any ports.
