Getting started
Set up in under 2 minutes
No configuration, no port forwarding, no VPN. Install both apps, pair once, and you're connected.
Download the Mac agent
Install SeaSalt Cove on the Mac you want to access remotely. It runs in the menu bar and connects automatically.
Go to downloads →Get the iOS app
Download SeaSalt Cove from the App Store on your iPhone. Create an account or sign in with the same email you used on your Mac.
Open App Store →Pair your devices
Tap your Mac in the device list on iOS. A 6-digit code appears on both screens. Confirm they match and you're paired with end-to-end encryption.
Start a session
Tap Terminal, Desktop, or Files to connect. Your sessions persist even if you close the app. Pick up where you left off anytime.
Tips
Multiple sessions
Pro users can run up to 10 sessions at once. Open a terminal in one, monitor a build in another.
Works from anywhere
No VPN or port forwarding needed. Both devices connect outbound through an encrypted relay. Works on any network.
Session persistence
Close the app, switch networks, even restart your phone. Your terminal session is still running on your Mac when you come back.
