Getting Started
1. Install the Mac agent
Download SeaSalt Cove for macOS from the download page. Launch the app and sign in with your account.
2. Install the iOS companion
Download SeaSalt Cove from the App Store on your iPhone. Sign in with the same account.
3. Pair your devices
Tap your Mac in the device list, then tap "Start Pairing." A verification code will appear on both devices. Confirm they match to establish an end-to-end encrypted connection.
Troubleshooting
Device shows as offline
Make sure the SeaSalt Cove agent is running on your Mac and connected to the internet. Check that the menu bar icon is visible and shows a green status.
Pairing fails
Ensure both devices are signed into the same account. If pairing was previously revoked, remove the device and re-pair from scratch.
Terminal not connecting
Verify the Mac agent has accessibility permissions granted in System Settings. Try disconnecting and reconnecting from the iOS app.
